ActionAid Vietnam attends 26th round of Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) in Australia
The 26th round of Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (#RCEP) negotiation was taken place in Melbourne, Australia from 28th June to 3rd July 2019. All 10 ASEAN member states and their partners: China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and India will represent 3,4 population - half of the world’s population and 30% of global GDP.
During this event, ActionAid Australia and ActionAid Vietnam in cooperation with the Australian Fair Trade and Investment Network (AFTINET) and other organizations had a chance to share the impacts on Gender, Investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS), health etc. in many events with negotiators, women working groups, volunteers and politicians. Especially the low minimum wage, poor gender responsive public services in developing countries will effect #women's rights and #equality.

Vòng đàm phán Đối tác kinh tế toàn diện khu vực (RCEP) lần thứ 26 đã diễn ra tại Melbourne, Australia từ ngày 28 tháng 6 đến ngày 3 tháng 7 năm 2019. Tất cả 10 quốc gia thành viên ASEAN và các đối tác bao gồm: Trung Quốc, Nhật Bản, Hàn Quốc, Úc, New Zealand và Ấn Độ sẽ đại diện cho 3,4 dân số - một nửa dân số thế giới và 30% GDP toàn cầu.
Trong sự kiện này, ActionAid Australia và ActionAid Vietnam hợp tác với Mạng lưới đầu tư và thương mại công bằng Úc (AFTINET) và các tổ chức khác đã có cơ hội chia sẻ các tác động đến Bình đẳng giới, giải quyết tranh chấp giữa các nhà đầu tư (ISDS), y tế, v.v. tại các sự kiện với các nhà đàm phán, các nhóm phụ nữ, tình nguyện viên và các chính trị gia. Đặc biệt là mức lương tối thiểu thấp, các dịch vụ công kém chất lượng ở các nước đang phát triển sẽ ảnh hưởng đến quyền và bất bình đẳng của phụ nữ.
