ActionAid encourages gender-responsive reproductive healthcare services
On 3 July 2019, in Da Lat, Lam Dong province, a Consultation Workshop on the project "Civil society-led promotion of reproductive healthcare services project" conducted by ActionAid Vietnam with the cooperation of Krong Bong district, Dak Lak province and Lam Ha district, Lam Dong province and the financial support from The European Commission.
At the workshop, the delegation of senior manager team of ActionAid Vietnam, Management Board of Supporting Development Program in Krong Bong district and Lam Ha district and the Director of General Hospital in two districts discussed the construction and operation of obstetric and gynecological clinics. Implementation plan includes form, principle, local proposal, operation plan for two clinics, etc. to ensure sustainability of the project. Participants also agreed on the establishment of a gender-sensitive obstetric and gynecological clinic in each district, with priority given to ethnic minority women and young people; and at the same time, committed to allocating personnel and facilities to ensure the operation of the two clinics.
Ngày 03 tháng 07 năm 2019, tại Đà Lạt, tỉnh Lâm Đồng, đã diễn ra Hội thảo đóng góp ý kiến về Dự án “Tổ chức xã hội thúc đẩy cải thiện dịch vụ chăm sóc sức khỏe sinh sản cho phụ nữ và thanh niên dân tộc thiểu số” được tổ chức ActionAid Vietnam phối hợp thực hiện cùng huyện Krông Bông, tỉnh Đắk Lắk và huyện Lâm Hà, tỉnh Lâm Đồng dưới sự tài trợ bởi Ủy ban Châu Âu.
Tại Hội thảo, đoàn lãnh đạo của tổ chức ActionAid Vietnam, Ban quản lý Chương trình hỗ trợ phát triển tại huyện Krông Bông và huyện Lâm Hà cùng Giám đốc Bệnh viện Đa khoa 02 huyện đã cùng bàn luận về việc xây dựng và vận hành các phòng khám sản phụ khoa tại 02 huyện. Phương án triển khai bao gồm: hình thức, nguyên tắc, đề xuất của địa phương, kế hoạch vận hành của hai phòng khám…để đảm bảo tính bền vững của dự án. Tại Hội thảo, các bên đã thống nhất về việc thành lập tại mỗi huyện 01 phòng khám sản phụ khoa đảm bảo tính nhạy cảm giới, đối tượng ưu tiên là phụ nữ và thanh niên dân tộc thiểu số; đồng thời, cam kết phân bổ nhân sự và cơ sở vật chất cho phòng khám.
