The results evaluation of implementing the water purification pilot using aquatic system in Tra Vinh

From 07th to 09th November, 2019, the results evaluation of implementing the water purification pilot using aquatic system was taken place at 1,2,9 hamlets and Kinh Lon hamlet, Long Duc commune, Tra Vinh province. The consultant collected water samples at each pilot locations to check the quality of environmental efficiency, economic efficiency, assess the difficulty and advantage levels of the pilot. In addition, the consultant met and discussed with each household who directly benefits and participating in the pilot to listen to the people's feedback.
Ms. Huynh Thi Dep (72 years old), a direct beneficiary, shared: “After 2 months of implementing the pilot, my income has gradually stabilized, the water source is also more purified. Next time I will plant another 300 square meters of water lily to increase the harvest quantity.”
The activity is part of the project: "Women's leadership on natural disaster and climate change" funded by ForumSyd Sweden and ActionAid Sweden.

Từ ngày 07-09/11/2019, tại các khóm 1,2,9 và ấp Kinh Lớn xã Long Đức tỉnh Trà Vinh đã diễn ra hoạt động đánh giá kết quả thực hiện mô hình lọc nước bằng hệ thống thủy sinh. Tư vấn đã tiến hành thu mẫu nước tại từng địa điểm thực hiện mô hình để kiểm tra chất lượng về hiệu quả môi trường, hiệu quả kinh tế, đánh giá mức khó khăn và thuận lợi của mô hình. Bên cạnh đó, tư vấn đã gặp gỡ trao đổi với từng hộ dân tham gia mô hình hưởng lợi trực tiếp để lắng nghe những phản ảnh của người dân.
Bà Huỳnh Thị Đẹp (72 tuổi) hộ dân hưởng lợi trực tiếp chia sẻ: “Sau 2 tháng áp dụng mô hình, thu nhập của tôi đã dần ổn định, nguồn nước cũng được lọc sạch hơn nữa. Thời gian tới tôi sẽ trồng thêm 300m vuông mặt nước cây bông súng để tăng sản lượng thu hoạch”
Hoạt động nằm trong khuôn khổ dự án: “Vai trò lãnh đạo của phụ nữ trong phòng chống thiên tai và biến đổi khí hậu” với sự tài trợ của tổ chức ForumSyd Thụy Điển và ActionAid Thụy Điển.
