Training course on "Participatory Vulnerability Analysis” in natural disaster cases in Ha Giang province
From December 17 to 23, 2019, the Management Board of Supporting Program for Development collaborated with ActionAid Vietnam organized a training course on "Participatory Vulnerability Analysis” (PVA) in natural disaster cases for young key cadres and team leaders of project area communes in Quan Ba district, Ha Giang province.
From December 17 to 23, 2019, the Management Board of Supporting Program for Development collaborated with ActionAid Vietnam organized a training course on "Participatory Vulnerability Analysis” (PVA) in natural disaster cases for young key cadres and team leaders of project area communes in Quan Ba district, Ha Giang province. The trainers of the training courses are AAV staff who have years of experience in implementing the program funded by AAV. The training course aims to provide trainees with knowledge about disaster risk reduction and practice the participatory vulnerability analysis tools. The disasters risk reduction plans will be built based on survey results and from which participants will come into decision of final action plan.
Ms. Phan Thi Lien, 24 years old, living in Nam Dam village shared: “I am very happy to participate in the training course and gain knowledge to help the community. I believe the knowledge of the training course is very useful to the community. As a result, I am looking forward to participating in more training courses like this one in the future.”
Từ ngày 17 – 23/12/2019, Ban Quản lý Chương trình Hỗ trợ Phát triển huyện Quản Bạ phối hợp cùng ActionAid Việt Nam tổ chức khóa tập huấn “Công cụ đánh giá tính tổn thương do thiên tai có sự tham gia (PVA)” cho cán bộ thanh niên nòng cốt và trưởng nhóm các xã vùng dự án tại huyện Quản Bạ, tỉnh Hà Giang. Giảng viên của khóa tập huấn là các cán bộ của AAV đã có nhiều năm kinh nghiệm thực hiện chương trình tại các vùng dự án do AAV hỗ trợ. Khóa tập huấn nhằm cung cấp cho học viên các kiến thức về phòng ngừa giảm nhẹ rủi ro thiên tai và thực hành các công cụ đánh giá tính dễ bị tổn thương có sự tham gia, từ đó lập kế hoạch phòng ngừa giảm nhẹ rủi ro thiên tai dựa trên các kết quả khảo sát và thống nhất kế hoạch hành động.
Chị Phàn Thị Liên, 24 tuổi, ở thôn Nậm Đăm cho biết: “Tôi rất vui khi được tham gia tập huấn để tiếp thu kiến thức giúp cho cộng đồng. Tôiị tin rằng những nội dung của tập huấn rất có ích cho cộng đồng và mong muốn được tham gia thêm buổi tập huấn như vậy trong tương lai.”
